Noé Coquerel spent his childhood rummaging through old Lego boxes for the rare brick that would fit perfectly into the creations born of his imagination. It was only natural that he pursues a craft where he will learn to craft his own pieces.
Leaving his familial roots in the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany, he graduated with a CAP ébéniste diploma from the École Boulle in Paris, France.
He then went on to receive his Brevet des Métiers d’Art and attended the Nantes Design School where he honed his artistic and graphic design skills.
Today, working from his Parisian atelier, Coquerel blends traditional artisan methods with 3D printing.
His work draws heavy inspiration from Brazilian modernism and naval construction. By working with solid wood, he creates a distinct style defined by both strong and delicate lines.
Noé Coquerel aims to broaden his work by tailoring unique solutions for the needs of tableware and furniture.
